My name is Makia Kine' Curry Scott from California raised in Akron Ohio. I have my Bachelors and Master Degree from Kent State University. I'm married with 3 girls and we reside in Texas. I am a professor of Kinesiology. I wrote this book The Big Apple, and my girls are the illustrators. This book is dedicated to my family.
