The end result is that his life was shaped by many people and events on his journey. The main goal in his life was to be a good husband, a good father, a good friend, and to make a difference. .

 

About the Author

Paul “Buster” Turner

Paul "Buster Turner grew up is a small town, Eau Claire, SC. He attended schools in Eau Claire and graduated from the University of South Carolina. He had a 33 year career with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with assignments in South Carolina. Mississippi, Texas, and at CDC's Headquarters in Atlanta. After CDC, he was Executive Director of Oral Health America's National Spit Tobacco Education Program working with Major League and Minor League Baseball. The he founded and was Executive Director of the North Carolina Spit Tobacco Education Program. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jane Miller Turner, for close to six decades. Together their union resulted in two sons, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Paul and Jane live in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains.
