Island Paradise Escape

Seeking relief from their fast paced life style in New York City a professional couple relocate to Boca Grande on Gasperilla Island to what they hope will become their island paradise. Upon arrival on the island they are confident they have made the right decision. Disregarding concerns raised by the husband after hearing the rumors surrounding the house including the strange disappearance of the former owner his wife insists on purchasing the house on Tarpon Street.

There was not a sound and yet he woke with a shout out of a dead sleep, wringing wet with sweat, with a fear like he had never known. He rolled away from the wall and she was there, standing in the door. Her clothes were ragged and dripping wet. Her hair was straggled and matted, draped over her green, silt -covered face.
