About the Author

Yvette M. Covarrubias

Yvette M. Covarrubias was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She hails from Mexican American parents, with many generations not having experienced divorce. Her parents are very hardworking people. Her mother continually tries to better herself, and her father takes care of his homes. Yvette exemplifies the confidence of what it takes to be married and keep a marriage healthy and happy. She has seen firsthand the vows a man and a woman make during a wedding—for better or for worse, through sickness and health—and has carried that with her into her marriage. And now, Yvette is ready to share her experiences, her “for better or for worse, in sickness and health, till death do us part.” Yvette had envisioned herself writing for some time, even though she had a career working with an airline. However, it took a turn for the worse during the recent coronavirus pandemic of 2020, and she was allowed to take some time off. That provided her the opportunity to write. Yvette has experienced many woes and unfulfilled dreams. She has yearned for something more meaningful in life. Yvette began to dig deep into her passion, her talent . . . and found her great love of writing. She happily writes about her life and her marriage. She daily wakes up and wanting to write about the situations she encounters. She considers it an honor to share her gift with the world . . . her passion, her love. She has vowed that when she meets people, she will help them see that God exists as she tells them of her miracle.
