Book Details

“Be sober be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, As a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,” 1 Peter 5:8. Survival on the Spiritual Battlefield describes in detail the lethal unconventional battlefield that U.S. soldiers face today in Afghanistan. There are no safe areas and the enemy wears no distinctive uniform which allows him to easily disappear within the civilian population. Satan uses the same tactics on the spiritual battlefield against every Christian warrior. Just like military field manuals the book teaches the Christian warrior how to protect himself and his family from the “wiles of Satan.” It is a “must read” for every born-again Christian warrior. The Bible is full of “military” metaphors. I have always been intrigued when I hear “soldiers” speak of their experiences to help me visualize the Scriptures. Brother Rangel does just that. From “boot camp” to “coming home” (whether by death, or retirement, or the end of a deployment) Brother Rangel describes the life of the soldier with definition of “military terms”, and examples of soldiers in “action” to give a real life awareness of what it means to be in the Lord’s Army. The illustrations of particular soldiers and their exploits give the book life. Brother Rangel gives great insight with the Scriptures of how to survive as a “Soldier” in the Lord’s Army. David McCracken International Evangelist
