Kelly Cyr was a ghost writer and personal historian for Lion’s Den Publishing for ten years. She has given several talks about her book and domestic violence in her community. Invited to host a TV talk show, she showcased talent and a cooking segment besides reading from her book for a year. In addition, she has volunteered as a domestic violence advocate for two different organizations: Healing Hearts, a domestic violence group for both men and women that she founded and STOP, a local program that helped young people get off the path to juvenile delinquency. Retired from nursing and happily remarried, she lives in Great Falls, Montana with her husband, Lee Mitchell, a talented singer/songwriter from London, her son and two adopted cats.
