Book Details

A true story of the perils of our big white male goose or “how he duck (duct) taped my goose.”

“Dad you have to do something. Heigher, our dog has almost killed the blue-eyed goose.” The goose was lying down with his entrails laying on the ground. I told Leona the goose would have to be destroyed as I couldn’t see any way to save him. Leona ran and got a cardboard box and we put the goose in the box which she carried in the house. I told her I would have to dispose of it. In desperation I told her to get me a roll of duct tape as I didn’t have any goose tape. I put the goose back together and started wrapping him with the duct tape until all the visible injuries were not noticeable. After two weeks of feeding and watering, the duck made a complete recovery. When your back was turned, he would sneak up behind you and pinch you on the behind with his bill.
