SONI IS BRAVE AND CAN GET THROUGH ANYTHING!

A big storm has arrived and Soni is afraid of storms. How will Soni manage fear during this event? With support from Bear, Soni uses counting and breathing skills to bravely get through the night.

This book includes themes: mindfulness skills, self-esteem, self-soothing, independence, confidence, growth, emotions, grounding, friendship, family, home, and embodiment. It is written and designed with kids in mind, but relatable for anyone to read! If you've ever had a fear (and we definitely all have), this book will remind you that you have skills - or can learn them - to soothe and comfort yourself.

Pronouns are intentionally not used for Soni in this book in order to make the child in the story genderless/agender/gender neutral. This story, therefore, is also inclusive of gender diversity and can help your child feel seen and represented in their books, or help them to learn about friends and strangers who are gender diverse.
