David Shimones is originally from Ypsilanti, Michigan. He moved to Denver, Colorado, in 2008, where he lives with his beautiful wife, Tricia, and amazing daughter, Victoria. A stay-at-home dad, one day while driving to the store, he noticed Victoria making faces at him in the rearview mirror and he said, “Hey, you silly goose!” Victoria responded, “Hey, you avocado moose!” David smiled, turned the car around, headed home, and immediately wrote this book!
