Lightning strikes twice: sparks an impossible dream

Lightning struck twice on top of the mountains in the Island of Cebu, the Philippines. It burnt the guts of the microwave repeater equipment and emergency generators. An engineer in Manila went on a field trip to solve the problem. Problem solved. Two scores after, the engineer found himself in the heart of Silicon Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. The author retraces his way to San Jose creating a tapestry of the ordinary people, things, places, and events he encountered down memory lane.
