About the Author

Patricia L. Cleare

Hello, my name is Patricia L. Cleare. I hope you will enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. This story was hard for me, because I too experienced some forum of abuse from family, and friends. I lived in great pain, distress, and humiliation, in my childhood. I remember many hurtful and painful things that happen to me over the years. I also seen various situations that happen with other people that I was familiar with and inspired me to write this book. One morning in the summer of 2010, many thoughts rumbling around in my head. I screamed out this title: Shut up! Your Words Are Killing Me! And that was the beginning of this story. Writing this book was therapeutic for me to overcome many of my anxiety and pains. I am happy that I was able to write my first inspiring, helpful fiction book. This is dream come true. Thank you.
