Happiness, Heartache, and Heroism: a Policeman’s Journey
Shadows on the Wall spans one police officer’s career of nearly thirty-seven years. It highlights the immense joy of assisting people in their times of need as well as the sheer helplessness of situations where one’s training and compassion are ineffective. From embarking on new beginnings to bringing new life into this world, from guarding against danger to watching people depart this life in unimaginable ways, and running the gamut from comedy to tragedy—these are all part of this man’s journey and the life behind the shield.
