Discover the Remarkable Power of the Female Spirit

If you thought that the Big Apple was filled with just women in Manolos by day who sip cosmos by night—think again.

Get ready to meet the real women of NYC. “Shadows Of Men” is an intimate portrait of one unique group of women, chronicling their triumphs and tragedies as they raise children and manage difficult jobs.

Andrea Bennett is in love with her boss—who just happens to be married to the chairman’s daughter.

Patrice Bernard’s cop boyfriend has a habit of using her as his punching bag. Renata Thomas has given

everything for her family—until a devastating diagnosis turns her life upside down. Kristin Scott is a

successful therapist who’s just realized she wants back the one thing she may not be able to have - her ex-lover, Nick.

Now, these varied women will find their lives collide in the most unusual ways as they battle to achieve

success out of the shadows of their men.

Smart, savvy and powerfully moving, Shadows of Men is about the unconquerable female spirit—and its

capacity to help us live, laugh and love together.

She finds inspiration in the diverse cultures, lifestyles and the variety of languages that abound in NYC.
