Dennis P. Hern was born in New Jersey and (except for two nomadic months in the 1970’s living in Goleta, California) has lived there for 64-plus years. He has been writing poems, prose and songs since a young age. His grandfather was also a poet by the name of Henry G. Oehley and hopes to publish “Doc’s” writings after these projects if he should live so long. He hopes you enjoy this book because: 1. The next four are also already written (1990–1999, 2000–2014, 1960–1969 and 1970–1979); and 2. He needs the money to be able to continue living in New Jersey.
