About the Author

Daniel A. deStefano

Born in 1949, Daniel deStefano works as director of a small library, and holds degrees in biology and library science. He is married to his beautiful wife, Robin, and has one daughter, Kat, a diver and master mariner. Dan and Robin own two dogs, twelve cats, and two birds. An artist as well as a writer, Dan has published two other books, one about wild flowers and another about beach pebbles, both of which he illustrated himself.
