Book Details

Fun and stirring begining of a series called life inspired!

Twin brothers Manny the good mannered little boy and Marty the little smarty, like alter egos in every child, will take your child on an enchanting and thrilling quest. Swept into Salmon Cavern where everything is big and everything is fast the boys meet characters and adventures with each turn of the page. As they travel through the cavern and four seasons Marty learns valuable lessons in relationships and care of our environment that lead them home and toward a whole new venture to come.

Book Excerpt

Marty picked up a large oak leaf and climbed a high stone. The wind picked him up, sailing him much higher than usual.
"Wow! That was great! Manny get one of these and we'll take off from that log over there!" Manny grinned and found himself a good leaf. The boys climbed the log with their sails and took off higher than ever from their new launch.
"Manny watch out! A big wall is coming up!"Marty yelled, but looking down he realized he was much to high to let go, and just squeezed his eyes tight. Manny didn't even see it coming. Thump! Thump! the two boys hit the wood crashing to the ground with little support from their leaf parachutes.
"Augh! Ow!"
There was a loud scream, piercing screeches of claws on metal, then a dull thud and a moan.
"What the heck was that?" Marty shouted. Manny shrugged.
"How can you two startle me like that? Gad!" More scratching and scuttling sounds and mumbling and muttering came from the other side of the wall."Now that you've got me in here you'd better get me out of here! Help! Help! Help!" the voice came, echoing louder in it's panic.
"Who is that?" Marty asked dusting himself off.

Living in God's country on a tributary of the Columbia River she enjoys the innocence of her animals and the serenity of the Great North West where rivers once ran clean and full of Salmon.
