Judith DeFour-Howard received her under- and post-graduate training in Canada, the Caribbean and the USA. Her long and distinguished teaching career expanded over the disciplines of Mathematics, Sociology and Psychology at secondary and tertiary institutions in North America and the Caribbean. In addition, she was a Textbook Reviewer. As an ardent advocate for effective, functioning curriculum, she developed mathematics, education, psychology, family life, environmental and sociology curriculae for junior/ high school students, student-teachers, social workers, nurses and seminarians. Judith was instrumental in producing a text on research methods, which served as a basis for a distant education course for Adult Learners. Judith, engaged junior and high school students of New York City teaching/tutoring and offering academic intervention services in mathematics and putting in place curriculae on Life Skills for junior high students and environmental curriculum for high school students.
