About the Author

Ellie Bushweller

Ellie Bushweller has a BS in Nursing and an MS in Counseling. She is also a freelance writer who has previously published in several magazines and is the author of a children’s book, which was published in 2008. Her years of working in both the nursing and counseling professions gave her many opportunities to interact with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. Now retired, Ellie lives with her husband in Vermont and has three adult sons and eight grandchildren.
