Book Details

A former Priest attempts to resurrect his family, his mother, Sylvia; and her parents, Conrad and Alice Mae. He embarked on a 30-year journey; the results of unresolved trauma—the loss of his family. A lament and the defeat of his ministering in the Catholic Church. Years of wanderlust sent him to the brink; loving God, then disliking God with; Great malice. The raw truth of the aftershock of loss, regret and deep remorse; spirals and turns that lead him back to his faith. A teenager watched sister death fall upon his family three times from 1987 to 1989. He blamed God for his struggles, beginning in his home town in Torrington, CT only to discover that; God was his salvation. Through years of debauchery, alcoholism, drug addiction with the thought of resurrecting the dead. The painful loss of family and faith. His family prayed for a miracle, to spare their mother, so that family didn’t have to go through the ministry of death again. Sylvia, was a graced woman who had her own spirituality; none of which she appeared to have shared with him but he observed externally the calmness of her presence, and the actions she performed in and around the house that demonstrated her love for life and her family.
