I grew up in Elizabeth New Jersey and Christmas was one of my favorite holidays. As one of five children, getting to bed before Santa arrived with his sack of toys was always a challenge. Thankfully we had two wonderfully creative parents who knew how to leverage our imagination. We never did see Santa, but we knew he was real. We heard the hooves on the roof top, the bells on the reins and even saw the silhouetted sleigh in the moon light as Santa arrived. Thanks Mom and Dad for making Christmas magical.
