Frightening Apparition Forewarns the Death of a Little Girl’s Loved One

The trip to the Black Hills and then Pine Ridge in South Dakota was meant to be an opportunity for the Grey Hawk children to visit their family home. Clarissa, a five-year old Sioux girl was excited to go, see her aunt and uncle and visit her parents’ graves. Her foster parents took the motor home and they camped on the site of their old home. There, she had a frightening encounter with what she believed to be a Banshee. Not only did it lead to a terrifying experience for her, it left her with a deep dread of whose death the Banshee foretold.
