Book Details

HERE IS A POETIC ALBUM SPANNING A LIFETIME OF CURIOSITY, PUZZLEMENT, APPRECIATION AND LOVE.

Haven’t we all occasionally wanted time to stand still - a story to go on and on, a loved one to live forever, a treasured evening to last longer? And yet we also want new doors to open, to visit with old friends, and perhaps a chance to see home once more. Somewhere among these pages you may discover your own way to bring these things about through reading the way it is done in verse. Through the years, the poet has seized upon moments of reflection before they escaped, and captured and groomed them like stray pets. It is hoped that adults who laugh and cry with the love of life will enjoy this collection of things dear to us.

About the Author

Suzanne Kee

A student and teacher of drama, writing, literature and speech, Suzanne Kee has lived mostly in Illinois and has gained an appreciation and reverence for the land, its animal and plant residents, and its rich history. From studies of anthropology and archaeology of the region she has discovered its uniqueness and essential contribution to the country’s sustenance. Although an ardent traveler currently living in Florida, Suzanne admits that at the end of the day her heart turns toward the fields of Illinois wherein lie her roots. Until this volume, her published work has been limited to newspapers and scholarly magazines. Now a grandmother, Ms. Kee enjoys the lively arts, playing tennis and swimming, painting, volunteering, and caring for her dogs. She continues to capture poetic moments. Her undying gratitude goes out to Mr. Martin Kadansky of Kadansky Consulting, Inc., her expert editor for this collection, without whom the completion of the work would not have been possible.
