About the Author

Dr. John Sandy

Dr. John Sandy is an accomplished leader and scholar in Organizational Leadership; Dr. Sandy has over 24 years professional experience in child welfare. He is Program Manager with the Government of the District of Columbia where he manages compliance, monitoring, and evaluation for multi-million-dollar contracts. He is the author of Pointers to Success, and another book that is in publication. Dr. Sandy has held various leadership positions that includes Executive Director of a private child welfare organization, Program Director, Director of Training, etc. In June 2019 he was recognized by the Cafritz Foundation in Partnership with George Washington University for Excellence in Public Service.
