Book Details

Passionate Poetry filled with prayer, love, family and humor.

“If you’ve been searching for that one poetry book that has it all - spirituality, meditation, praise and worship, comedy and downright hilarity and more, - look no farther, for your journey ends with Poet Sandra Taylor’s new book, Poetry From The Heart .” (Ruby J. Thomas, Judge Pro Tem, Pres. & Founder - Save Our Students Academy, and Author of Jeremy Williams Takes A Time Out). “Poetry From The Heart is a collection of poetry derived from everyday life experiences. This poetry is inspiring, empowering and causes us to think, and brings us laughter. It helps us see ourselves in the mirror of truth, humor, and sorrow. Often it is not life’s situations or circumstances that tear us down, but the prospective from which we choose to view them.” (Rev. Winfred Dixson). “I listen to your poems and I close my eyes and see ... Everything that you are feeling becomes a part of me ... You have a God-given talent, a gift from heaven above ... You own the ability to describe life, happiness, death and love ... You are a breath of wisdom as your poetry speaks to me ... Stay true to your gift, use it to witness and heal ... Keep a smile in your heart - you are a poet real.” (Alice J. Kirk, Lou Walker Senior Center Poet Laureate 2007-2010 and Author of Beginning Anew ). “The poems in Poetry From The Heart makes me think, laugh, and inspires me to do my best as well as make good decisions. Some poems are like ‘Rap’ - Poetic Justice.” (Rodney D. Taylor - age 15).
