Book Details

In a country defined by cycles created generations ago, one teen from poverty dares to destroy the entire system; and in the process change the world forever... If he can live long enough

Everyday is a battle between life and death for those growing up in poverty. All Tre wanted to do was make a little money to help his Mom pay bills and to bring some food into the house but in the process made a grave mistake and now needed to save the life of his mother all the while trying to keep himself from being killed in the process. With a new opportunity arising Tre had to take advantage but needed to run home and grab gym shoes and gym clothes. As soon as he walked outside bullets came flying by his face shredding every material around him with violent precision so he ran like his life depended on it which it did. Out of breath at the gas station Tre now had to deal with the trigger happy police that shot first and asked questions later when it came to black men. He knew if he didn’t run he was good as dead or they’d file a bogus charge and arrest him. He took a few more deep breaths and as soon as they got out of the squad car he smiled at them and bolted off and the chase was on.
