The Dilemma: “SAVED” but WITHOUT assurance of HEAVEN?

An EYE-OPENING book that reveals “erroneous extremes” of how some Christians have false expectations of going to heaven when they die. The Bible says, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov. 14:12). Perhaps a “FEARFUL SHOCK” for many, but souls can be “saved” from God’s wrath and still not dwell in the holy city of heaven. The Pendulum of Extremes Dilemma will reveal (through scripture–without doubt) why some “truth seekers” will UNEXPECTEDLY DISCOVER that “living” a righteous life-style as a loving servant to God and others is as important for entrance to the holy city of heaven (Matt. 22:37-40; I Jn. 2:15-17; Jn. 13:34; Ja. 1:12) as “faith” in the gospel of Christ to be initially “saved”. A “saved” soul will have a place (mansion: Jn.14:1-3; Eph.1:3,19,20; 2:5,6; 3:9,10) in the heavenly kingdom and will not suffer in hell for his past sin -- if he does not deny work of the indwelling Spirit to fall from God’s grace. However, he will not be able to dwell (reign) in the holy city without “abiding in Christ” to “glorify the Father” through DOING honorable works of love (Rev. 20:12-15; 14:13; Rom. 2:5-10). This book shows why a righteous “life-style” is the only way to satisfy God’s commands for having eternal life anywhere in the heavenly realm and especially the holy city (New Jerusalem). The reader will see that “eternal security” (once saved-always saved), to forever guarantee life in heaven, “does not exist” (no cheap grace) without the human spirit walking in the divine nature of Deity to “endure” to the end of earthly life (Matt. 24:13; II Pet. 3:17; Heb. 3:6,14) without falling-away. Since God “tries” every man’s work (I Cor. 3:13) and falling-away is possible (II Pet. 3:14,17; Heb. 6:4-6;), a Christian must “work out his own salvation with fear and trembling” (Phil. 2:12; I Pet. 1:17). The “works” of man will determine whether his soul (upon death) will REIGN in the holy city, LIVE in a different place of the heavenly realm or SUFFER damnation in hell.

About the Author

C. A. Wilson

Charles Wilson, after four years in the military, completed his education on Industrial Management from the University of Nevada (Reno) in 1961. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a salesman for UARCO Business Forms and in management at Caterpillar, Inc. in Peoria, Illinois. Though without a PHD in religion, he has preached and taught many Bible classes throughout the years in various denominational churches. Charles has endured many trials in his Christian life with the “passing” of his wife after 40 years of marriage and the “death” of his fourth daughter at the age of 49. Because of these trials and his many long deep dedicated studies of God’s Word to know Him, trust Him and understand His ways, he feels qualified to “author” this book.
