Gratitude brings blessings!

Miriam Fredericks (Mamre) is who she is because of the goodness of God. She is an anointed educator with over thirty years of experience. Her love for writing poetry developed after she met her sister Aloma in 2005. Forgiveness has played a huge role in her success. She has been blessed and must thank God every waking moment. One Leper's Heart is a result of the gratitude she needs to express for the blessings of God in her life. "Gratitude is like a beautiful flower that smiles up toward the sky as the rain pours down." Our smile of gratitude only nourishes more blessings. She deeply believes that we determine how people react to us by the way we treat them. Her wish is that we are all living like the leper who was thankful for all God's blessings in his life."

One heart beats in gratitude
For the gift of life
The others left with no “thank you”
To live a life of strife.

To appreciate each blessing
As we go along our way
Expressing appreciation,
every single day.

No one really owes us
No one has to care
We live to say “Thank you”
We must learn to share.

A feeling of thankfulness
Let us all express
For life is granted to us,
for the uplifting of the rest.

For giving your only Son,
One in three;
and three in One.
