LOOKING AT LIFE THROUGH THE REAR VIEW MIRROR
The author writes about a moving and emotional journey as she shares her personal life story about the many challenges of a single mother raising four children while trying to become the breadwinner for the family.
Judy becomes a school teacher while dealing with her medical problems and raising her children. As her children grow she has her hands full. One son is tragically killed which takes a heavy toll on the family in many ways. The other children get into drugs, crime and marriages that weigh heavily on Judy. What could have turned into a dark and depressing story becomes one of success and triumphs.
Judy has brought us her life, the good, the bad, and the ugly, with an honesty that makes her story compelling and hard to put down. This book would make a good book for a psychology or humanities class. At the same time it is an interesting and entertaining story that everyone can relate to in one way or another.
