Book Details

Molly Winters is a pretty straight arrow Minnesotan with one exception. Girls, even in Minnesota, are not supposed to have a priestly vocation … not in the Catholic Church.

An old-fashioned Sunday dinner with guests was not the time to spring the complex matter without getting … “Stunned silence. Realizing she alone could break the silence, ‘I have a vocation …. to the priesthood.’”

Thus begins Of Priests and Porcupines, the tale of an American woman finding her way to authenticity by claiming her prophetic role in the Catholic church but needing nine lives to do so.

Lillian Lewis, Ph.D. Roman Catholic Woman priest and author of All Shall Be Well: an Irish Inheritance
