Book Details

“My Name is Paul. My best friend Jack called me “Red Head”. Everyone else simply called me “Red”. We were Navy Men. We stood side-by-side in World War II as the enemy fired at us. That’s not exactly accurate. I dove for cover while Jack dared the enemy to kill him.

Jack and I skippered PT Boats in the South Pacific in 1943. The enemy sunk both of our boats but we survived. Jack became a hero by keeping his men alive long enough to be rescued. His heroics were only one of a long string of close brushes with death in the twenty-one years I knew Jack. I was at his side on more than one occasion when Jack received the Last Rites but lived.

With the help of a Navy Man doctor, I kept my friend alive long enough to fulfill his destiny as President of the United States of America. Even with help from three other Navy Men of destiny, Lyndon, Dick and Jerry, I could not defeat the forces behind Operation Eternal Flame that took my best friend’s life in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

However, I take comfort that I kept Jack true to his destiny and in the process three other Navy Men of destiny also became President of the United States of America. Prior to Jack’s inauguration, 26 of the first 34 Presidents were military men. None were Navy Men. Six of the next seven Presidents were Navy Men.”
