MzStory, born as Nakisha Lester, is a new author with an amazing story to tell. She was given the name “MzStory” from speaking her poetic truths at several poetry events in the state of Connecticut where she was born and raised. As a way to express herself to the world she used poetry and writing as an outlet to heal from life’s experiences. Nakisha still resides in Connecticut with her three children and her fiancé. She currently works for a travel insurance company and is also an independent model. She plans to release more books in the near future.
