A Compelling Saga of Lawmen in the Old West

On the surface, Samson Washington and Johnny Lightfoot Stevenson couldn’t be more different. Johnny was born to an Indian mother and White father in the West, growing up in an Indian camp, always on the move while he learned the ways of his tribe. As a half-breed, he hovered between two worlds. But Johnny’s life takes a turn when he is in his late teens, and an old sheriff hires him as his deputy…along with a young Black man, Samson Washington. Although these two young men come from diverse backgrounds, they both know what it’s like to feel like outsiders, and as their kind mentor shows them their potential, they turn their hunger for achievement into the kind of daring and courage that frontier life requires. Follow Samson and Johnny on their journey of love, hatred, bravery, and compassion as they protect their loved ones and stand up for what they know is right. Mountain Creek will take you on the unforgettable journey of two unique men who became closer than blood brothers.
