My name is Apryl Watkins Hurst and I found a love for expressing myself on paper at the early age of 9.  I loved the way words could touch a persons emotions.  Reading a book can leave a person feeling happy, sad, inspired and even influenced.  My husband and I have 5 children and they influenced me to write books for children.  My little ones love to use their imaginations. They are all very active and outgoing. Therefore, I thought it would be great to write books about a kid that loves to do the same.  There are books that focus on kids going on adventures but I have yet to find one that includes the participation of the parents.
