About the Author

Dorothy Blakley

The Reverend Dr. Dorothy Blakley was born in Panama City, Florida. She received her Associate in Art degree in 1995 and later, her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Avila University in 1998. Blakley worked for St. Joseph Catholic Charities for 20 years. In addition to their teaching budget management classes, she founded and coordinated the popular grass roots Teen Community Awareness Program (T-CAP) for 9 years. Blakley still lives in St. Joseph and is an active leader in her church and civic communities.
