About the Author

Angelina Lalau

Angelina Lalau was born in Northern California in August 1970 and moved to Southern California in 1999. She lived in Southern California until 2021 and then relocated to Henderson, Nevada. Angelina met her husband in college and they were married in September 1994. They have three children and are now enjoying grandparenting! Angelina graduated college in 1997 and worked in Technology for various companies until 2014. She then left the corporate world to join her husband with their pet grooming manufacturing and distribution businesses. She started a pet grooming apparel line in 2015. Shortly afterwards, Angelina was diagnosed with breast cancer, which resulted in a double mastectomy. She had another cancer scare in 2021, which resulted in a full hysterectomy. She is currently taking time to focus on health and live life to its fullest everyday! Angelina wanted to write this road trip guide as a tribute to the many years of living in Southern California and traveling back and forth to Mammoth Lakes with her family.
