Knowing your sexual preference and not being able to express yourself because of the views of society leave Troy torn between family and living the life. Troy has known throughout his life that he is gay. His family is not accepting of his lifestyle. Being raised in the church, Troy was raised to believe that being gay was a sin. Wanting to be accepted for who he is Troy decides to move to New York to live with his aunt; who always encouraged him to be the best at whomever he decided to be. Troy embark on a journey from South Carolina to the Big Apple where he is sure that things will be different. Living in New York Troy is able to be free and live life as a gay man. Travel with Troy as he discover that living the life has its ups and downs. Discover that living life has its share of love, heartache, good times and bad times.
