COL Tom Guthrie is a US Army Infantry Officer of over 27 years who has commanded at all levels from company to brigade. He has served among others, in the 75th Ranger Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and the 25th Infantry Division. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff, Multi-National Division-North/25th ID in Northern Iraq and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, 2008-10, and as the Chief of Current Plans for the International Joint Command-Afghanistan, 2010-11. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bucknell University and a Masters Degree in National Security Strategies from the Naval War College. He is currently the Director of the Center for Army Leadership at Ft Leavenworth, Kansas where he lives with his wife of 22 years, Kim, their two kids, Thomas and Merrin, and their wonder-dog, Fenway.
