Awaken your spirit

I title this work Life, a book of poems because to me Life, is ...a book of poems.

We all have pain, stress, disappointments, and even depression. But we also have a great deal of Love, Friendships, as well as Joy and Happiness.















This book of poems is meant to inspire and enlighten. Life (a book of poems) is the first in a series of recent pursuits and work in progress.
I sincerely hope these poems speak to your soul, mind, and heart. And may your spirit be awaken with a new outlook on Life.

I took a walk with Life, one day
and as we walked along the path.

I said to Life, "Why can't things just go my way?"


Life smiled at me and laughed. "Why if all things worked out
you way,
what lesson's could you learn?


For with every obtacle, trial, and truimph you must face,
everyone has their turn.



could shine every day and every night,




don't you think it would?





Or if the rain said, "I never want to stop falling,"
wouldn't you think it should?





And when the snow comes, do you really think it likes melting away.




For all these things are too related, to life not
going you way.





So learn to look at the beauty in everything
and my friend, do this all the time.



And the thought of things, not going
your way, wouldn't weigh so heavy on your mind."
