Kwasie Thompson was born in Jamaica West Indies and currently resides in New York. He is a teacher of modern foreign languages, Spanish and French in particular. His path to this accomplishment began after graduating from Charlemont High School in Jamaica, West Indies. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Kwasie then moved on to the Mico Teachers’ College, now the Mico University College, where he successfully graduated with a diploma in Secondary Education, with a specialization in Spanish and Music education. Kwasie Thompson has always had a passion for foreign languages. This desire propelled him to further his studies in Spanish and French at the University of Havana, Cuba. Working assiduously, he successfully completed a Master of Arts in Modern Foreign languages. In the US, he completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Additionally, he is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership with a specialization in second language instruction. As a foreign language teacher, he realizes that there is much more to be done to enhance the teaching and learning of Spanish. Consequently, Kwasie decided to contribute to the teaching and learning of Spanish by writing this vocabulary workbook for students. The purpose of this book is to allow students to become more familiar with Spanish vocabulary and to use the words to improve communication with their teachers, fellow students, and friends from various Spanish countries.
