William D. Brockhaus

William Brockhaus lived the events described in this book, and in spite of the many hardships, continued to teach, and to care deeply for Turkey. He returned to Turkey in 1972 on a Fulbright Grant to study at the University of İstanbul. He presently resides in Orange County, CA with his wife.
