Book Details

Learn to trust the old saying “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child”.

Inspired by true events, ‘Lessons Learned’ is a revealing look at the life of a young man, whose existence was a winding path of despair and devastation, due to a void in his world. Most Fatherless young males struggle with serious issues and Antonio Stevenson was no exception. Unable to control the emptiness of seemingly being forgotten by his own Father, Stevenson constantly acted out and was regularly in trouble. From getting kicked out of dozens of schools to almost losing his life, he barely escaped to be able to tell his story. It truly took a village of Mentors, Role Models, Coaches and Neighbors to steer our main character in the right direction. This book provides a raw account of life without a Father, from a child up to a young man’s perspective. Even with the endearing love of the active parent, children still long for the estranged parent. Learn to recognize and identify the many silent cries of a troubled child. A must read for all single parents as well as absentee parents. Any young male that finds himself on a destructive path would benefit greatly from the pages of “Lessons Learned”.
