Book Details

One day, one night, one power lap sunrise and sunset swim at a time, one bedtime global travel journal entry at a time. This. Is. My. Story.

This book includes my personal journals of my extraordinary travel adventures and exceptional journeys throughout 101 incredible countries in my 49 years of life thus far!

So Far… Here Are A Few of My Travel Adventure Highlights:

•Escaping the devastating 2004 Indonesian earthquake and tsunami in Phuket, Thailand, and witnessing tragic loss of life.

•Celebrating New Year’s Eve on Copacabana and Ipanema beaches in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with hundreds of thousands of people all dressed in white.

•Riding a constantly spitting camel with a 104-degree fever throughout the magical Sahara Desert, from sunset to sunrise over Mount Sinai, Egypt.

•Almost drowning white-water rafting El Río Pacuare near San José, Costa Rica.

•Being surrounded by toucans and rainbows during hikes to the world’s largest waterfalls in Iguazú, Argentina and Brazil.

•Bungee jumping at midnight in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with only a full moon for light—just before tragedy struck another bungee jumper.

•Dining in 125-degree heat in the middle of the Liwa Desert near Dubai and Abu Dhabi, surrounded by a charming Arabian lover, camels, and candlelight.

•Swimming alongside dolphins, sharks, and stingrays in the French Polynesia in Tahiti and Moorea.

•Receiving freshly baked baklava delivered straight to my bedroom window in Baku, Azerbaijan.

•Riding a donkey that weighed less than me through coffee and Dole banana plantations in Costa Rica.

•Walking a donkey that weighed less than me up the 588 steps of the old Karavolades stairs in Santorini, Greece.

•Indulging in a ten-course meal at the Burj Al Arab on Jumeirah Beach, Dubai, surrounded by Arabian sheikhs.

•Kayaking at midnight in Puerto Rico’s Isla de Vieques, the world’s brightest bioluminescent bay— like being in a scene from Avatar.

•Zip-lining on the world’s highest zip lines above the treetops in Monteverde, Costa Rica.

•Zip-lining on the world’s longest zip lines over crocodile-infested rivers near San Juan, Puerto Rico.

•Devouring fondues and raclettes for hours in the panoramic snowy Swiss & French Alps.

•Tasting deep-fried cockroaches and scorpions in Beijing’s famous Wangfujing food market before hiking the Great Wall of China.

•Hiking to the glaciers of Balmaceda and Serrano in Chilean Patagonia and enjoying whisky poured over freshly chipped, multi-million-year-old ice.

•Hiking the Incan citadel of Machu Picchu, Peru.

•Experiencing San Salvador, El Salvador, Managua, Nicaragua, La Havana, Cuba, Manama, Bahrain, Kuwait City, Kuwait, Chișinău, Moldova, Nouakchott, Mauritania in the most peaceful way.

•Getting terrifyingly stuck during a desert jeep safari in the sand dunes of Doha, Qatar.

•Almost “fakely” dying in the chili pepper spice market of Old Delhi, India.

•Almost “really” dying in the overcrowded emergency room of New Delhi, India due to a blood clot deep vein thrombosis in my leg.
