The voices of our hearts have been eliminated by the materialistic nature of our culture. The result is a society almost completely devoid of the language of the trees. Humans are slowly awakening to this ancient language. The rhythms of earth are being remembered as essential components to relearning the wisdom and old ways of living in harmony with natural voices and rhythms. Journey of the Tree Child is the essential restoration of that wisdom.

This is the wisdom of soil: I am the placenta of the earth. I understand the quickening of thunder in the rain cloud. I have heaved and torn asunder limb from limb like the trees, when the first infantile mountains spawned within me were driven hard, outward and upward, at the genesis of all things. I languish over each embryonic seedling that struggles within his shell. When the first tiny green leaf unfurls itself to drink in sunlight for the first time, I weep and rejoice. It is a silent exultation, though, realized only through the abandonment of myself as the nursling stalks break away from me to find the pathway that leads them into the wide expanse of air above.
