The author was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1964. From 1966 until 2021 he practiced law in Leadville and Vail, Colorado. He has served as president of the Colorado Bar Association, of the Colorado County Attorneys Association and of the Metro Denver City Attorneys Association.
