A Collection of Reflective Poems Which Mark Various Points in Life. Included are also a Collection of Idiomatic and Colloquial Expressions.

Reflections from the Heart is a collection of reflective poems. They are either tribute to places I have visited or reflections of a particular moment/period in my life. The idiomatic and colloquial expressions are a mixture of American and Jamaican expressions which I find fascinating and seem to express things in a manner that formal English does not capture. Writing has proved to be a cathartic exercise for me. Each time a major development occurs within my life, the most convenient way of expressing my fears, my happiness, my joy and whatever else ails, proves to be penning my thoughts. Since sharing my innermost feelings with another human being does not come close to revealing the depth of my feelings, therefore, my pen and my keyboard do the listening and talking.
