Sharis Roe DeJaynes has been writing poetry for over 25 years. Her poems are straightforward and to the point, while still leaving room for artistic interpretation, just as her paintings possess. Her paintings are fresh, colorful and contemporary, springing from her extremely passionate approach to life. Concepts emerge fully clothed in color and strong in design. A brand new form, born first from intellect then from emotion becomes visible and introduces itself to the world. DeJaynes’ paintings have been in many juried shows in the United States. Her paintings sell internationally and have been featured in numerous articles, both online and in print. DeJaynes is the owner of Affaire d'art - International Fine Art Gallery in Galveston, TX where she currently resides.
