Book Details

NYC and other public schools exclusion of a significant population of our children (Blacks, Latinxs, & Females) from the gifted and talented programs deny us the future physicians, biomedical engineers, physics, and other natural scientists needed to fight the Coronavirus. It also endangers our national security and our Democratic Ideals in the emerging majority-minority era.

Drs. Green and Gordon have compiled a selection of practical information every parent with a child in the Public-School System can use to guarantee progress and academic success. In addition, their work has utility for educational policy makers, educators, school leaders, and college professors wanting to address the intractable problem of the achievement gap. It seeks to exfoliate deeply embedded problems that festers like an untreated sore to inform the present educational malaise. The work is useful to Asians, Blacks, Latins, and White educational stakeholders.
