Isn't it time to be a blessing to others and get blessed?
Seeing so much pain and loneliness throughout the world and inside of others, author Sharon Yvonne uses the scripture Genesis 12:2-3 [2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed] and her personal experiences to encourage, motivate and inspire everyday laypeople to discover the blessings within them and then ask them to share their blessings with others.
The book addresses peer pressure amongst teens, how it’s never too late to build a relationship with God no matter what your circumstances, and how you too can inspire others. Relationships are addressed for the married, dating and single people, as well as relationships within families, organizations, and God. True stories of how people were given odds to fail, yet through prayer, resources and guidance, they became triumphant. Reaching out to the unsaved, Sharon Yvonne shows different avenues and resources that gives the everyday person comfort in establishing a relationship with God. Unfortunately, not everyone is comfortable reaching out to churches or religious leaders for many reasons. Since many times we’re told to be disciplines which is defined as - one who accepts and assists in spreading the doctrines of another, Sharon Yvonne hopes that this book is spreading the doctrines of the bible in a way that comfort is given to all who receive it. She suggest that readers reach out to God in a way and time that is comfortable for them, discovering spirituality if they are not religious, and sharing the gifts/blessings that they may not realize they have inside of them.
The author is an every day Christian person who doesn’t have any ministry degrees. However, she does have a life long gift of communicating with others in a motivational way. A teen mentor for over 29 years and former assistant girls scout troop leader, Sharon Yvonne has dedicated her life to being a change agent to improve the quality of life of whomever comes in contact with her.
