This gives her the right-of-passage into the reader’s heart. She is old-school and new-school in one which qualifies this inspiring book to speak to both generations. Her down to earthness, along with the uniqueness and simplicity of her illustrations will make this book a must to read.” —Dr. James P. Jones Shield of Faith Ministries, High Point, N.C.

Book Excerpt

In my yard at one point, I had three beautiful red plum trees. They were planted when we first moved to the land. After about 10-12 years, I noticed little red off-springs popping up across the yard. They were everywhere and stood the chance if they were not mowed down quickly or regularly of producing a crimson forest in my front yard. I had to cut down my lovely mature trees in order to stop the forest. I believe that is what we have to do with every negative thought or unproductive behavior in our life. The longer we take to address the issues, the harder they are to excavate.
