Mr. Karn is an architect whose projects include the World Trade Center, Washington Metro among others. Since 1973, he has lived on his farm in Montgomery County, MD, among children, grandchildren, dogs, horses and cows. Health issues ended his professional career in 1995 and he now focuses on mowing fields, gardening, canoeing and writing. Of Frogs, Towers and Trains, a memoir, has recently been published.
